法拉盛的粤语脱口秀、唐人街的独立乐队、日落公园的华人市集、布鲁克林仓库里的中文诗歌之夜——这些活动真实存在，每周都在发生。但它们的消息只活在微信群的转发里，活在某个路灯柱上的传单上，活在你朋友的朋友才知道的小圈子里。
错过了，你甚至不知道自己错过了什么。
台前台后想做的事很简单：把这些藏在城市褶皱里的活动带到台前，同时把台后的故事讲给更多人听。主办人是谁、乐队怎么组起来的、这个场地有什么历史——活动结束之后，故事还在。

New York has never lacked great Chinese-language events. Cantonese stand-up in Flushing, indie bands in Chinatown, Chinese night markets in Sunset Park, poetry readings in Brooklyn warehouses — they happen every week. But word only travels through WeChat forwards, flyers on lampposts, and circles only your friend's friend knows about.

Showside's mission is simple: bring these events hidden in the city's folds onto the front stage — and tell the backstage stories to more people. Who organized it, how the band came together, what history lives in this venue. After the event ends, the story stays.
